Process 

My artworks are mainly about mental health and what it is like living with a mental illness. For this photograph, my friend and I sat down and had a conversation about her mental health. In this conversation she mentions a major depressive episode in which she felt as if she had no point in living. During this time, she felt extremely desolated as well as lonely. It had gotten to the point where she felt as if nothing could satiate her feelings, not even the negative thoughts she was experiencing at the time. As her state got worse, she couldn't help but push others away. Due to her mental health, she wasn't aware of what she was doing however, they didn't know that. This is mainly because they never knew how it's like to get to that point of your life or simply assumed that she was doing this on purpose.
