In making this piece, the first thing I did was sketch out the chair's leg onto a piece of foam board. The board was then cut into and sanded to smoothen the edges. After cutting the board, I had to figure out how I wanted the design of the armature wire to look. Once I got the design of the wires in place, I had to wrap the thread around. My first attempt failed seeing that the thread had nothing to grip onto to keep it in place. This was when I decided to twist two pieces of wire together to allow the thread to be able grip onto something.
